Shopping in Barcelona

Barcelona's market is funkier and more stylish. In addition to the mega-fashion stores you’ll find like H&M, Zara, Mango, Adolfo Dominguez, Pull&Bear), the Barcelona shopping experience also includes boutiques and unique designer shops. Shops open at 9am, close for lunch from 2-4pm and reopen until 8 or 9pm from Monday to Friday. On Saturdays shops usually close at 2pm. Some shops open on Sundays and on holidays. Major Barcelona shopping destinations are concentrated on different streets, while boutiques and unique garments tend to be located in the winding streets of the Old City or Gracia. El Corte Ingles is the most famous department store in Spain. Anything you may need from home design garments, to a restaurant, a supermarket, computers/electronics, kitchenware, even a travel agency can be found here!
