El Prat Terminals & Transport

  • Transportation to and from the Barcelona airport
    • By car: By using the Autovia C-246 you will reach Barcelona after 13km. The journey will approximately last 15 munites.
    • By taxi: There is a taxi station right outside the exit of the terminals. The route until Plaza de Catalunya will cost you around 15 euros.
    • By train: You can use the train (RENFE) that will take you up tp one point (Barcelona Sants) and then change to the metro which you can use to reach any part of the city. The tickets of the Barcelona Airport train cost 2.5 euros and the journey is around 20 minutes.
    • By bus: The Aerobus (A1) from the airport to Plaza de Catalunya starts in front of Terminals A, B and C and operates from 06:00 to 01:00. There is also a direct bus to Barcelona Sants, line 105 that reaches El Prat, line 46 that goes to Plaza de Espana, line L77 that goes to Sant Boi de Llobregat, line N17 that goes to Plaza Catalunya and operates during th night from 22.05 to 05.05.
  • Terminals
    • The main terminal building of Barcelona Airport holds three terminals: A, B and C. Each terminal at Barcelona airport has a variety of shops, cafes and restaurants. ATMs (cash machines) are available in all terminals as well as full service banking offices, which offer currency exchange services.

    • Terminal C (TC): Terminal C serves the 'Puente Aereo', an air shuttle service that goes between Barcelona and Madrid, which is operated by Iberia Airlines. It also serves general aviation companies.

    The Barcelona airport has approximately 12,500 parking spaces, 2,300 of which are located in the parking building connected to Terminal C by an airbridge, and 2,600 more are found in the car park located across from Terminal A, which is also connected by an elevated corridor. The parking area has controlled exits and entrances and permanent security service. There are 14 automatic pay machines inside the terminals and at the pedestrian entrances to the parking lot.
