  • Medications, baby food and special nutrition (medical dietary food) that are needed on board during the flight can be transported outside of the plastic bag. Passengers must henceforth hold a medical certificate or a prescription made out in their name for drugs and dietary products.
  • Items purchased within the transit area at Vienna Airport (after boarding card control) and other EU airports or on board EU airlines are exempted from quantitative restrictions.
